My husband Dan is a Wisconsin Rapids native and works at Eagle Construction as a Project Manager. He has recently retired from the National Guard after serving 20 years in the military, including three overseas tours to Kuwait, Iraq, and Kosovo.

We have a six year old daughter named Lauren who keeps us constantly busy and makes life interesting, and a three year old son, Trevor.  Completing our family is our Cairn Terrier, Rascal, who is always causing trouble (we gave him a very appropriate name) and tries very hard to keep watch over Lauren and Trevor.

I am a huge sports fan, especially for the Wisconsin Badgers and the Minnesota Twins.  I also enjoy golfing, scrapbooking, and traveling.

My name is Jen Jackson and I'm very excited to be starting my fifth year at Nekoosa High School.  Here is a little bit about me.....I graduated from Blair-Taylor High School in 2001 and went to Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota following graduation. At WSU, I studied Business Education (Teaching) and graduated in May 2006 after spending a semester student teaching at Arcadia High School.

Following graduation, I had my first teaching job as one of the Business Education teachers at Barneveld High School.  At Barneveld, I not only taught business courses, but also advised the Yearbook and started their Dance Team program which qualified for the State Championships in 2008 in Division 4 Pom.  In 2009 I moved to Wisconsin Rapids and began teaching at Pittsville High School where I was the Business Education teacher, Yearbook adviser, and FBLA adviser. FBLA has become a real passion for me after having students qualify for the National competition every year while I was an adviser at PHS.  This included a group of students becoming National Champions in Web Site Design in 2013.
